Pick-up staff for auction items in the UK
We are currently looking for people who can collect items for us from the following areas…
- Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Others)
We often find there are many ‘only collect in person’ items on auction sites and we need your help in doing this, where the vendor is not willing to dispatch the items to us. We mainly buy canvas frame tents, so they can be quite heavy and it is usually 2 to 4 individual bags of tent poles and canvas. Our main issue is despatch, so we need someone to pick them up by car and send them to the warehouse in London.
The work is on a one-off basis, so when we have purchased a tent, we will contact you by telephone, text message or e-mail, whichever you prefer. We can arrange a date for collection, so you can do it in your free time or at weekends, so no stress! After that, the London agent will arrange a courier to pick them up from your house, so you may need to secure the bags, then print and attach the delivery barcode and wait for the collection by a courier.
We also pay for the wrapping materials for securing the packages, so just let the London agent know what you have used – however, we will require proof of purchase for these items.
We can pay £100 within 40 miles, £135 within 70miles. Other collections are open to negotiation.
